Christmas!

We moved into our new house two weeks before Christmas, so things were a little crazy, but we did it and had an awesome Christmas!
We took the kids to the Lehi Kneaders to see Santa!
He is our FAVORITE Santa to visit! and we get yummy french toast after!

Christmas eve!
So this was the first year that I gave the kids PJ's on Christmas eve and they were excited until Tyson went to put them on and he broke down. He was worried that if he wore his new PJ's they would become old and worn out, but if he didn't wear his new PJ's when we took pictures Christmas morning the girls would be in new PJ's and he wouldn't. It was quite the dilemma! Long story...semi short, he decided to put them on first thing in the morning before we opened presents!

So our tree was HUGE! I was looking for an inexpensive fake tree, but never found one I liked for the right price so we decided to get a real tree again this year! But with only one week before Christmas we didn't want to pay a lot so we shopped around. One guy wanted $69.99 for a 6ft tree a week before Christmas and he wouldn't budge...are you kidding me!!! Then Home Depot only had their $54 trees left and wouldn't budge. I then happened to be driving on 126th up the river bottoms and saw a sign...All Trees $10 or less! I called Brandon and we chose our tree. We told the kids to pick ANY tree and Tyson picked the biggest one on the lot! We were cool with it until we got home and thought...WHAT WERE WE THINKING!!! Luckily the tree stand was big enough and our living room is two stories tall so we were fine. And that is the story behind our 10foot tree!!

Santa really spoiled the kids!

It always cracks me and Brandon up when the kids walk into the living room and they see everything except for their own Santa toy! Tyson saw mine and Brandon's stockings (that were nearly empty!) Lily saw Macy's toy and not her huge doll house! It kills me!

Tyson's been busy!

We are so excited to be moving this weekend, for one...to have our own house again!(Thank you, thank you, thank you to Brandon's parents for letting us bombard them for the last 3 1/2 months!) and two, for the kids to make new friends and have play dates and friends over again!

Tyson has been able to make a couple friends at Nana's house and has had a couple play dates and been invited to one birthday party, but it is just not the same as when we were having friends over multiple times a week at our old house!

Tyson has been keeping himself busy with MANY projects!

We couldn't keep all his artwork, so we took pictures!

(He had about 50 or so art projects!)

He is sooo creative!

Tyson also stayed busy with Lego's!

When he would finish a new creation he would put it downstairs in Nana's quilting room/Macy's bedroom!

He had about 75 different creations!

He is such a creative kid! I am so glad Nana had all those Lego's and plenty of art supplies for him to create!

Tyson's neverending Birthday!

Tyson had his friend party on the 16th down at Jump On It in Lindon.

We did the party there since we are homeless and all of his friends live in Utah county (except Asher and Cooper that live in the Russell's ward)

We had pizza, cake and ice cream!

Tyson jumps on EVERYTHING! So this was the perfect place for him!

Lily took sometime to warm up, but by the end she was so comfortable she had taken off her socks and skirt!

Macy even had a great time! Nana came with us. It was her actual birth day!

We had a great time!

Then Saturday the 26th was Tyson's actual birth day. He opened the presents from us, then we went and saw The Muppet Movie. It was really cute! We recommend it! Then he chose Burger King for dinner. He saw a commercial about their prizes so that made his dinner decision for him! Blasted TV commercials!

Then on Monday Grandma Wendy took us and Great Grandma out to lunch (this time he chose McD's) and he got more presents! He thought it was the best birthday week and a half ever!

6, 3 and 6!

At the end of October I took the kids pictures since Tyson was turning 6, Lily was turning 3 and Macy was turning 6 months all within 5 weeks of each other!

We just went out into Brandon's parents yard and they turned out awesome! (I think!)

The Halloween decorations were out, so Tyson and Lily made me take quite a few with the decorations, but only one made the blog!

They are too cute! We do have our rough times, tears, fighting, yelling, but overall they are great kids!

6, 3, and 6!

6 Months!

Our little Macy Bug is already 6 months old!

She is still the best little baby!

We did have two "rough" days after she had her 4 shots, but I don't blame her and her "rough" days are pretty darn easy!!

At 6 months she...

has two teeth

eats rice cereal

can sit up for a couple minutes by herself

is really starting to giggle

smiles at EVERYONE!

is spitting up less (YAY!)

is getting close to crawling

can rotate like no other

and loves attention from anyone who will give it!

Halloween!

So on Halloween we started off by going to Tyson's school parade! It was outside and a little chilly, so I was glad he was in Kindergarten and went first!

Nana went too, but we couldn't find her! Tyson saw all of us though!

Then we came home and after lunch carved pumpkins!

I had to bribe Tyson with $1 to touch the innereds...he almost cried because he thought it was so gross until the dollar was involved then he thought it was pretty cool!

Tyson drew Frankenstein and I carved him!

Nana helped Lily carve hers!

I do have to say using those flimsy looking pumpkin carving tools you can buy are WAY better than using a knife! I am so glad Nana had them or I would have been too cheap to ever buy them and would have never known!

After pumpkins we went trick or treating at Brandon's work. They always do a cute job with all the departments creating "themed" areas for the trick or treaters! The kids filled their buckets at his work and filled them again later that night!

The best part of Halloween was the big news from Cam and Ange... After 7 years of trying they are pregnant! At Halloween they were 13weeks!

Cam was Dr. Whosyourdaddy and Ange was his patient. They already had ultrasound pics and this little one is going to be very cute!! I can tell already! YAY!
