Family and 40 years!

Over Labor Day Weekend all of Brandon's family were able to head to Colorado and visit Brandon's oldest Brother Derek and his family. It was a great weekend, we got to be a part of Chandler (the oldest grandchild) being ordained a Deacon.
We visited a miniature train museum, and spend a lot of time relaxing and hanging out and letting the kids play until they dropped!
Since all of us were together we took advantage and had an all grandchildren picture!
All of them with their Nana and Papa!
It was a little stressful, but we also were able to get a family picture!
This is really how the family is most of the time!!
Cute Lily! She is a stinker/drama queen, but we still love her!
Macy and Dad watching the kids dance!
Tyson, Brinley, Addie and Paige playing the dancing game on the Wii!
They played non-stop! I didn't even know where Tyson was half the time, but I knew he was having a great time! I wish everyone lived in Utah so we could see them more often!
Tyson can't wait to go to Colorado or Arizona again, he asks us quite often when we are going....I have no idea, but sometime within the next year!
Lily talks about her cousins all the time and always wants to wear her blue shirt that match her cousins!
While we were in Colorado, we surprised Brandon's parents with a little tribute to them and their 40 years of marriage! (Thanks to Andrea for putting it all together!)
Here they are on their actual anniversary at home!
How cute are they!
Happy 40 years you two!
Here's how Tyson and Lily celebrated their 40 years....
Our crazy kids!
(P.S. Brandon's birthday is on their anniversary, so a little shout out to B! Happy Birthday! Happy 33 years! We love you too!)

Macy is 4 months old

Our little Macy turned 4 months on September 5th.
She is getting to be such a big girl!
On Sept 1st she officially rolled from her tummy to her back, and on Sept 4th she rolled from her back to her tummy and we happened to be in Colorado with Brandon's family and got it on video! (Down below!)
Macy loves to smile at EVERYONE! She is the happiest baby there is! She only cries when she is tired and hungry! I can handle that!
She loves to roll over, talk and eat her hands and feet!
She loves grabbing toys so I feel she may start army crawling in no time!
She thinks her brother and sister are the most entertaining people in the world! Tyson can get her giggling pretty good! (Her first official giggle was 8/24)
We sure love our little Macy baby!

Macy's 4 month stats:
Weight: 12lbs 9oz...25%
Length: 25in...75%
Head: 16.5in...75%

Tyson is growing up!

The first part of August, Tyson came to me and showed me his wiggly tooth! I thought he was going to be worried about it, but he was rather excited!
On August 17th after eating breakfast he said, "Mom I have some great news! I was making sure my teeth weren't dirty and I found my tooth on my tongue!"
About an hour later he came to me crying and told me he didn't want to loose his tooth because that meant he was growing up and he would have to move away from me and Dad soon!
I explained that he still had a looooong time before he moved out and he was cool with it again!
That night we talked about how excited he was for the tooth fairy to come and he wondered if she was going to bring money or a prize!
He went to bed with the tooth in a plastic bag under his pillow and the tooth fairy left him a whole dollar!
That morning he came into our room crying because he missed his tooth!
We explained to him that with each tooth he could add up his dollars and when he got 5 he could trade it for a 5 dollar bill and so on and so on! He got super excited again and now wants to do any chores so he can speed up the money making process!
Man who knew losing a tooth could be such an emotional roller coaster!

Lily had to be part of the fun to!
Tyson the kindergartner!
Well, with moving came Tyson going to a brand new school for kindergarten!
He has been such a great little kindergartner! He has made new friends! (he has already been invited to a birthday party from a little boy in the ward but he is in another kindergarten class, but Tyson says they play together at recess!)
When I drop him off, he always seems to be playing tag with someone! He is such a social kid!
So far he loves kindergarten and is so smart!
What a big kid Tyson is!
We love you buddy!

Moving!

So Brandon started a new job back in July and one of the perks of this job is that he can work from home! We did not have the home that could accommodate this perk (he was working in the rocking chair in Macy's nursery!) So we felt with all of the criteria we had set for our decision making on when we would move were all met...(ie., how much Brandon was making, our expenses, our savings....etc) We put the house up on the market. Two years ago when we tried to move we had a few people walk thru and only one really low offer after about 3 months so we felt the time was not right for us then, but this time things were hugely different! We had the house up for a week, (with multiple walk thrus almost every day) and by day 7 the lady that bought it had walked thru and was working up an offer! 3 weeks later we moved!
We (mostly me and Tyson) were sad since we had been there for 5 1/2years. (Tyson was 4 months when we moved in) We have some really great friends from that neighborhood, but it is also exciting to move on to our next "chapter" in life!

Amongst all the chaos, the kids did well at entertaining themselves!
Lily took off her pants and climbed in the water table with just her undies! Tyson thought it was hilarious so he climbed in too! (We made him keep his pants on!) Got to love Lily's goggles too!
While preparing to move, I got behind on laundry so the kids had to wear Dad's shirts to bed! They thought it was awesome!

So, We are now living with Brandon's parents until we find a house! We currently have an offer on a short sale in Lehi at Traverse Mountain, but short sales take FOREVER! so we are still looking in Herriman, Riverton, So. Jordan, Sandy, Draper, Lehi....If you know of any good homes let us know! Wish us luck!
(My back up plan is to actually outlast Brandon's parents and drive them crazy enough that they move out and we get their house!! ;)

After spring soccer, we signed Tyson up for summer T-ball.
I think he has a real knack for baseball, but he really has to be in the mood!
He had a great time playing and goofing around!

Brandon was the coach again...(I don't think any parents sign up to be coach, but Brandon is always willing!) Tyson did ask if he could have someone else as his coach for the next sport he tries!

Our happy little Macy enjoyed the games!

Tyson is the 3rd one back! You got to love 5 year olds and how they ALL go for the ball no matter what sport!

That's my Tyson! I have a feeling he might be the class clown in school!!!

There's my Lily striking a pose! Her idea of watching a game is to try and eat as much as possible before it is over!! I am with you Lily!!

Tyson thought it was fun to try and beat his own teammates around the bases on the last batter! (maybe he will be a runner!)

Way to go Tyson! We love watching you have fun and play sports!

Macy is 3 Months!!

Our sweet Macy turned 3 months on the 5th! I really cannot believe it! I know everyone says it but it is so true...where did the time go??!!??
We did a really quick photo shoot this morning since things are getting really crazy around here! (We are moving in two weeks!)
I cannot get enough of her cute little face!!
I could just eat her up!!

Lily "helped" with the pictures!

My cute little kids! I love them all to death!
Macy is the best little baby!
She sleeps through the night!
She smiles and is so happy when she wakes up!
She loves to talk to anyone that will listen!
The only time she is upset is when she is hungry or really tired!
She plays by herself on the floor forever! (Last Saturday we were de-junking and cleaning and she played on the floor for a couple of hours without so much as a peep! At times we forgot she was there!)
She is getting so close to giggling! (I am so excited!)
She loves to take everything in...she studies her surrounding and peoples faces while they are holding her!
We love our little Macy!
Happy 3 months!

This is the Place...

To be ripped off! Don't get me wrong This is the Place Heritage Park is fun and educational, but man are their prices through the roof! I forgot that when we went last year we went on a special discount day. I wish I had remembered before we got there and paid an arm and a leg!
We did this at the beginning of the summer, but I am a little behind on my blogging!
Anyways... We did have a great time!
We visited the petting zoo.
(Above picture...with no animals!!!)

The kids did the Pony ride! Which they loved!
We rode the train!

We checked out some old homes and played pioneer games!
We checked out the tee pee!

Lily striking a pose in the sunlight!

Tyson warming by the fire!

We panned for gold!

More trains!

Cute Macy being the best baby in the world!

The kids went to Pioneer school. (They actually taught them a lesson plan...our kids were a little to young to get that whole concept of sitting still and listening to something way over their heads!!)
We also made crafts!

We finished off with some ice cream!
We went with our friends, Requel, Bella and Lyla!

It was expensive, but a lot of fun! The kids had a great time!
