More Random Stuff!

Life is sure a lot happier when we keep ourselves busy at our house!
The kids have been really into building towers...(occasionally Tyson "lets" Lily help!)
They were so proud of themselves!
Then it all came tumbling down! I love that both of them have their eyes closed!
Oh man! So they built it again!

I mentioned for Brandon's birthday we got him some nerf guns, well here is Lily keeping safe from the cross fire!

Loading...

Tyson running for his life!
Gun wars are awesome!

One morning while I was exercising the kids made their own car ramp! I love when they play nice together! It is rather rare!

Believe it or not, but this was Sept. 16th and the kids were having a water fight!
(It has been unseasonably warm this fall and I am LOVING it!)
We pulled out the running strollers and gave them a good wash and the kids went to town!
Lily getting Tyson!
Look at that grin!

Tyson getting Lily...not too hard when she just stands there and takes it!

I love it!

Don't forget to hydrate!

Soaked!

We had donuts the other night for dessert and Lily thought it was easier to eat it like an animal!

YUM!

Tyson likes the frosting the best!
The donut looks disgusting!

I love this. We bought this side table for the kids to do just this color, read, homework and they finally do! Ahhhh!

This is at Brandon's summer Company Party. It was a BBQ at a park. Brandon tried this racing one and the boxing one and Tyson along with all the other kids turned one of the slides into a waterslide! He had the best time ever!

Reaching to get his mark the furthest! Notice his opponent didn't even go...Brandon had no idea!

This was at Brandon's Corporate Summer games. He ran the 5k and his team got 2nd place! It was awesome because it was the same course as my region course in high school! Now he knows what a tough chick I was!
Anyways, after the kids went around to all of the booths and one had face painting! Tyson asked for Spiderman and I was expecting a little spider on his cheek, but he got this! He thought it was awesome!

I was surprised, but Lily wanted her face painted too so we did a flower! Again way above and beyond for what I expected...she even put glitter on her!

Lucky Tyson got to go to another Utah football game, this time with Dad!
He finally got to meet Swoop!

He was also really excited because our friend Megan didn't go either so Todd took Tyson's buddies Livvie and Elsie! Brandon said they were a bit out of control!

This guy sits in our section and dresses up as a pirate for every game...I have no idea why???
Anywho...they had a great time! Go Utes!
Long post, but busy is fun!

Preschool! YAHOO!

I feel a little guilty sometimes when I read other Mom's blogs or hear other Mom's say how sad they are that their kids are in school and how much they miss them during the day while they are gone...it's not that I am not sad that Tyson is growing up (seriously where does time go??!!) and I do love him more than anything, but I LOVE SCHOOL!!!!
I love it because Tyson loves it so much, I love it because he gets to do things that he wouldn't at our house, and I love it because he is not watching TV or having me entertain him!
This is Tyson's 3rd year of preschool!
(Well the first year was really a playgroup with a theme, the second year was a co-op preschool and now I pay for his "real" preschool!)
So here are the classic first day of school pictures!
His teacher had them make their bags at the open house!
Our Tyson is CRAZY! I love it!

I drive him 15mins to a preschool in Lindon, but this preschool is AWESOME! A friend of ours has her girls in it and loves it!
I was a little concerned because she only had an opening for the afternoon class and that is when Lily snoozes and I wanted to be able to do the shopping while Tyson was at school, but things have worked out even better! (I do have to take two kids shopping, that is the downside)
But, Lily falls asleep in the car on the way home, I put her in bed and I get an hour and a half to two hours of me time! AHHHHHH!!
It is wonderful! A win, win, win situation....Tyson loves school, Lily gets her snooze, and I get Mom time! WE LOVE SCHOOL!!

Go Utes!

Brandon and I have season tickets to the U of U football games, and Brandon happened to be out of town for this game. (We played UNLV and Brandon happened to be in Vegas!)
So I decided to take Tyson to see how he would do for a whole football game!
He did pretty well, but it was rather hot and he wasn't to happy about that until I got him a snow cone then all was better!
He wasn't really into watching the game, but he did enjoy all the crazy people around us and the food!
This is how he spent the majority of the time! Sipping his snow cone and making it into "blood soup!"
He did think it was fun to yell loud when UNLV had the ball to distract them!
Tyson taking an action shot!
We got there late (since I knew he wouldn't make it the whole time)
and we left with only a minute and a half left (the shade finally got to us by the fourth quarter!)
He had a great time!
We tried to get a picture with Swoop, but my camera battery died and Swoop was ignoring all the little kids and only taking pictures with adults! LAME!
Go Utes!
(When I told Tyson I had a fun time with just him, he told me it would have been more fun with Dad and Lily too! I don't know if that is an insult or not, but I thought it was sweet!!)

"32"

So, Brandon had his 32nd birthday yesterday and he decided he wanted it to be low key! So that is what we did! He came home early from work (since he had church meetings later that night!) and we took him to Chili's for dinner. We then took advantage of the Fire House Car Wash free wash for his birthday on the way home. (Ahh a clean car...good thing we were driving my car!!)
In the car wash the sunroof had a couple drips come from it...and I am not sure what I was thinking, but I decided to "make sure it was closed" by hitting the button! Well it opened and Brandon and I got soaked! I got the worst of it, only the center console (which was closed) was all of the car that really got wet! HAAHHAAAHHAAA! I couldn't stop laughing!
Then we came home and sang to Brandon and the kids blew out the candles on his brownies! We also gave Brandon two nerf guns as his present, so Tyson and Brandon had their own little war!
I thought it turned out to be a great birthday!
And thanks to my Mom and Brandon's parents he got a whole bunch of new work and casual clothes thanks to their cash!
Happy Birthday Brandon!
We Love You!!!
