Macy's first haircut!

Our little 2 year old Macy had quite long hair, but I haven't seen any reason to cut it since it has grown in so nicely. Before I left for girls camp I decided to get both of the girls haircut, since Dad isn't a girl hair do-er!
So here is Macy's hair before...
She was very into posing this day!
 Nice BELLY!!
And Lily can never resist a camera!
 Her beautiful hair!

Their friend Bryly was there and wanted in on the action with silly faces!
Macy was afraid of the hair dresser at first, but once we got her in the car watching TV she was just fine!

She only took off a tiny bit at the bottom to even it out!
Then she did a cute twisty!
We only took about 1 1/2 inches off of Lily's to get the bad ends off and she loves her hair down, so they just did cute twisties on top!
Yay for haircuts! and cute girls!!

4th of July

So I don't remember what we did during the day on the 4th, I think we did yard work! :) But I do remember we had Brandon's family over for a BBQ!
They left before the fireworks, but we love to enjoy the fireworks across the whole valley from our back deck!
We got the kids some glow sticks to play with while watching the fireworks!

 Happy Independence Day!

Cousins!!!

So, the cousins from Arizona came into town first, so we went with them to see Monster's University!
Who can resist taking pictures with cardboard cut outs!!
 Trey
 Tyson and his buddy Mike!

 So cute!
Monster's was a cute movie too!!
The next day, Lily had a swimming party at a friends house while Tyson was at school.
After school we headed to Nana's to play with all of the cousins! (the Colorado cousins had made it!)
Lily just happened to have her swim suit on because of her party, but Tyson and Macy just swam in their clothes!

The next day after Tyson's High Flying Hawk Award Assembly we headed to Brighton and did a picnic and hike around the lake!
All the Russell cousins
From left to right:
Tyson, Trey, Paige, Lily, Macy, Brinley, Addie, Chandler and Colten

 With Nana!
 Crazy Tyson!
 With Papa!
 The hike around the lake!

 Papa "lecturing" the kids!  ;)
I love the next two pictures... it looks like Macy is saluting! :)
 Ha haaahaa!
 Cute Colten in his backpack!
Look at all those silly faces! (even Macy!)

Tyson and Lily are obsessed with their bums and farting and just being gross!
 Everyone helping lift the log!
 The moose!
It got really close for us to see, until Macy saw Papa and screamed "Papa" and scared to Moose away! :)

I love when babies fall asleep in the backpacks!
Cute!
We also did a sleepover at our house one night with everyone but Chandler and Colten!
We ended off the cousins trip with a day at Lagoon! Soo fun! Our kids love roller coasters!!!
After Lagoon the Arizona cousins flew home and we had one more water day at Nana's house with the Colorado cousins before they headed home!
Oh I almost forgot.... on that Sunday Zak had his homecoming talk and all the missionaries from the Storehouse came to eat! It was a great Sunday!
What a fun time with all the Russell cousins!!

The last day's of 1st grade!

Tyson and his good buddy Porter at their singing program!
Nana and Dad were able to make it, but Dad had to leave before we could get a picture taken!
Me and the Girls at Tyson's dance festival!
 They got a little restless!
Lily wanted to take a picture!
Tyson is that little speck at the microphone (I didn't have my big lens) He had a speaking part, and he was the first kid that I could actually hear and understand in the microphone!
Way to go buddy!!
 Tyson doing a Mexican dance!
He is in the middle!
 Running off the field!
Good job Tyson!
 Pirate picnic lunch!
Arrrr!
Tyson had first said he didn't care if we came, so I didn't plan on it until he called from school hoping we would come! So I packed up the girls and to the picnic we went!
Macy liked being a pirate too!
 The High Flying Hawk award!
Tyson got the highest award!
Way to go big graduating 1st grader!
We had all of his Russell cousins in town from Arizona and Colorado and they were all kind enough to come and see him get his award! (even though it only took 5 seconds for him to get it!)
 Silly Macy Bug!
Grandma Wendy was able to come too!
She stayed after and went to the classroom with us for classroom awards and a slide show!
 In his classroom!
 Tyson and Mrs. Smith!
 Silly kid!
Thanks Grandma Wendy for coming! (and all of the cousins, aunts, uncles and Nana and Papa!! I didn't get a picture of!)
Congrats on finishing 1st grade Tyson!!
