Tooth Fairy!

The other night we were eating dinner and Lily was eating an orange when all the sudden she started crying. I asked what was wrong and she said her tooth was "broken"! We had no idea that she even had a loose tooth :) I told her it was a loose tooth and thru her tears she got a huge Lily smile and was so excited! But she then felt like she couldn't eat!!
The next day she was eating a banana with Nutella and she came crying to me that her tooth was lost! We looked at her banana and in her nutella and no tooth! She had swallowed it!
She was devastated!! She was worried the Tooth Fairy wouldn't come if she didn't have a tooth to give!
I let her know we would write the Tooth Fairy a note and all would be ok!!
Picture above is right after she lost it, red eyes from crying!
Ready for bed and ready for the Tooth Fairy!!

This is word for word what she wanted her note to say!
"Dear Tooth Fairy,
Sorry I swallowed my tooth!
But can I still have some money please?
Love, Lily Russell"
The Tooth Fairy left her $1 and this note in return!
"Lily-
Don't worry about swallowing your tooth.
Kids do it all the time.
Congratulations on loosing your first tooth!
Love
The Tooth Fairy"

Sledding!

We went sledding at Sugarhouse park with my Sister's and their families' one Saturday.
It was really icy with a top layer of fresh snow from the night before! It made it great for sledding down, but it was sure a task to get up the hill without falling back down!!
(Brandon and Lily)
Our kids LOVE sledding and are pretty crazy!!

Christmas 2013!!

Twas the night before Christmas and I tried to copy an idea off of pinterest, but I don't have my editing software since updating our computer, so the kids are a little hard to see, but I still love this picture!!
This is a note that Tyson typed and printed at school for Santa!
Nope, he wasn't holding "coal";)
I took this picture after Santa left and before the kids got up!
Looks like they were good this year!
Coming out to see what they got!
Macy sure didn't want to see what Santa brought her!
So this is when Lily came back to get Macy!
Tyson reading the goodbye note from our Elf Sneaky Gus!
He was pretty sneaky this year!
He did the underwear instead of stockings again, he had a snowball fight with Ariel, he went "rock/wall" climbing with Prince Charming, had a bubble bath, made snowflakes among other things!!!
 Lily got her Fairy Flutterby,
Macy got her Ariel and Tyson got Skylanders Swap Force for the new Xbox that was the family gift!
The kids helping Macy open her presents!
 Lily's face is always priceless!!
Tyson had gotten an Air Hogs flying sphere that floats above your hand, well isn't very friendly with long hair!
It got completely caught in her hair and this is what we had to cut out!
It broke the sphere, so we took it back and got a helicopter/car thing instead! ;)
Tyson is very sentimental of all things he makes, so I have made a deal with him that I would take pictures of things before I throw them away, so here is the candy train he made at school! :)
We had a great Christmas!
After opening presents and eating breakfast and playing at home, we went to Grandma Wendy's, opened more and ate more. Took our annual photo! Then we headed to Nana and Papa's for more presents and more food!
What a great Christmas! We made sure we talked often about the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ!
Merry Christmas 2013!
