Sledding!!!

The little hill in our backyard has been perfect for the kids to sled on!
This is one day after a good snow storm that we all went out and went sledding!
Macy didn't want anything to do with sledding, but she sure loved being outside on my lap!!
Tyson and Lily do a great job sledding all by themselves!
They have found their favorite way to go is Lily backwards and Tyson pushes and he sits forward!

Brandon had pushed a bunch of snow up around the tree so they don't hit the tree or go into the road!
The hike back up the hill! Love those happy little faces!!
They make it look so fun!!

The other day we did a day trip to the cabin (because we needed to get Brandon's snowboard)
and since we were going to be up there we decided to go snowmobiling and sledding!
The water was off at the cabin so we never really went inside (except to get some chocolate!!)
Cute Macy ready to go!

We took them to the field and pulled them around for a little while!
Macy rode with Brandon and we kept trading Lily and Tyson on the tube and the sled!
Lily thought it would be fun to ride on her back!
Then we took them to a good sledding hill and did some sledding
Lily loved that you could sink in the snow!!
Brandon finally made Macy sled down the hill after telling us "no" forever and she loved it!!
 Proof that I was there!
With my handsome Tyson!
The whole crew going down the hill!
We decided we love doing day trips in the winter with such little kids. It is just a long process turning on the water and heating up the cabin to stay a night or two then the process is just as long to re-winterize the cabin when we leave. We think we are going to try one more day trip before the snow is gone!! We loved it!
Happy Sledding!

Did we get a dog??...

Oh, it is just our deer friends!
They take to same two routes through our yard almost every day/night!
All of those tracks in the snow are from the deer. We have a herd of about 12 to 15 that travel together!
Their favorite trail is the diagonal one thru the center of the yard.
Because of it we have A LOT of deer poop in our yard...I hope it is good fertilizer!
I don't know if you can see the round spots on the patio, but one night the deer set up camp just outside our bedroom window. There were 5 of them. Brandon wouldn't let me take a picture because he didn't want the flash to scare them away!
Here are some of our friends!
We sure love where we live and we love our new pet deer that we get to enjoy!!
