Easter!

 Easter before church! Cute kids!
After church we headed to Grandma Wendy's and she sent the kids on a Lion hunt!
They got all their gear...hat, whistle, notebook...
Their notebook had their clues on where to find all they needed to find a lion!
The tall grass, where water is (the tub), where you find a snack (the fridge), in the dark downstairs, each clue gave them more prizes, sunglasses, whistles, floaties, lunchables, animal cracker!
Macy was a little slower than the rest! ;)

and finally to the "cave" where they found their Lions!
Grandma had made these cutest crocheted lions for the cutest little kids!!
What an AMAZING and creative Mom I have!!
Grandma also did an easter egg hunt the the backyard! Ange is giving Macy a clue to find another egg! It was so fun! Then we ate yummy food!
I always seem to forget to take out the camera, but we did go to Nana and Papa's after and ate more yummy food and played with our new outdoor throwing game (I forgot what it is called) but it is really fun!
Tyson was really good at it!!
What a great Easter!!
I almost forgot the pictures from easter morning at our house!
Nana babysat for us the night before easter so we could go to a soccer game, so we left her with the dying of the eggs! Man...I will never live up to Nana's egg dying and decorating! She is AMAZING!! these eggs were colored, had patterns, glitter, stickers, the shrink wraps, and to top it all off, they cut small strips of paper and folded them accordion style to look like grass!! WOW!
The kids always get so excited to see what the easter bunny (santa, lephrecaun, tooth fairy...) left for them! They are so good to just come straight to our room without looking so it is a suprise for all of them at the same time!!
 Checking out the loot!

Hunting for eggs!
The kids were so good to make sure Macy had a chance to find a lot of eggs too!

The whole family helped peel all the eggs! It was fun!
We had our annual resurrection rolls and eggs for breakfast (and of course candy!!;)
We are so greatful for the plan of happiness' and our Savior so that we can be an eternal family!
Now Happy Easter 2014!

Cars!

So I had been wanting a new car for a while and when I was getting ready to register the Eplorer for the year, I had the oil changed and safety and emissions done. It passed, but the oil started to leak after...I took it back into Jiffy Lube and they replaced a gasket, but while they were doing that they noticed a small leak in the transmission fluid line, so I took it to Ford to have it checked out. They told me we had two leaks in the radiator and it would need replaced! Well, we have replaced the Eplorer radiator FOUR times already and I wasn't going to replace it again!
So, I found a 2011 Toyota 4runner and we went to look at it!
Brandon got them to drop the price by $4000 and sold! We drove home our new 4Runner!

Tyson took all these pics of the cars!
Here is his selfie sad to leave the old car!
And here are his selfies happy to get a new car!

Tyson is pretty sentimental about things, but luckily we have learned to cope by taking pictures so he can remember!
Out with the old...in with the new!! YAY!!

No more binkies!!

We were having a pretty big problem with binkies when we changed Macy to a big girl bed a couple months back! She would steal them out of her bed and have them ALL DAY LONG!
She would also twist her hair into knots like CRAZY with her binky in her mouth!
One day about a month ago she decided she was a big girl and was ready to get rid of her binkies so she could pick a toy from the store!
So, we threw all her binkies and binky covers into the garbage!
She was happy for a few minutes till she realized what she had really done!!
About an hour after throwing them away she asked for one and was a bit upset... but we got ready, went to the store and she chose a new mermaid Barbie and was happy again!!
Yay for Macy to be binky free!!
P.S. the knots in her hair have decrease dramatically!!
She does still twirl her hair on occation though!! ;)

Phase 1 done!

Here is Tyson right before going in to get his first phase of braces taken off!
This poor kid can't handle the sun in his eyes! but he wanted his picture taken in front of the door, so I had him stand in the shade for one more pic!
(Don't know why the pic didn't turn)
Look at those straight teeth!
One handsome kid!!
(Phase 2 starts after he is 12!)
