Happy Valentine's Day!

So this Valentine's Day we thought we would send a Valentine to the kids' cousins and aunts and uncles and this is the Valentine! Well, I mailed them crossing my fingers that one stamp was enough. (Suckers don't weigh that much) Then the day before Valentine's Day, Grandma Spencer called to tell me how cute the Valentine was! I thought, AWESOME everyone should get their Valentine...Nope! All the rest were in my mailbox saying more postage needed!
So, to all our family that we sent this to and didn't get it...
Happy Valentine's! Here is your card!! ;)

This is the Valentine that Tyson did for his Kindergarten Class!
The "light" is a glow in the dark bracelet!
Tyson LOVES Star Wars right now!

These are the extra bracelets and the kids were doing tricks with them in the dark!

Happy Valentine's Day!

9 Months old!

So here was my attempt at taking 9 month pictures...but Macy had other plans! She constantly moved! I did get a few though!

She is our crazy little bug!
She is constantly moving and standing up to things!
The other day she stood all by herself! WHAT she is only 9 months old, and my last baby... she can't be growing up so fast!

She loves to wave, smile, wrestle with her brother and sister, play with toys and get into any and everything! She loves watching Tyson run home from the bus stop and gets so excited to see him! Macy and Lily already fight a little...we are going to be in trouble later on!!

These in the grey dress are the actual 9 month mark day!

She has 8 teeth. (4 on top and 4 on the bottom) With more starting to pop thru.

She is the best little sleeper! Often sleeping till 9am (even with the other two noisy ones awake!)
And when she hears me coming into her room she makes her happy squeals and smiles knowing I am coming!

And she has a super cute giggle!
She is also super load! (Has to be heard over Tyson and Lily right!)
She likes to yell at us when we are feeding her...??!! And when she wants attention!

We love our Macy Bug and can"t imagine life without her!

My attempt at dusting...

My front entry light is two stories high and even from the stairs the swiffer extender can't reach the spider webs so here was my solution....

The swiffer extender with a wooden spoon taped to the end! (and Macy's cute hand!) it worked!!

Next the fan in my living room is two stories high too, but it is further away from the stairs. Here is my solution for this one...

The swiffer extender, two wooden spoons, and another regular swiffer. Still can't reach...going to need to invest in a yard stick or two or bring in the huge ladder...?!?
Oh well, I hate dusting anyways!!

And how could I pass up putting these cute faces on this post!!
All ready for church!

Macy Bug! (I know 4 posts in one day!!)

Sweet little Macy had a rough day yesterday! She was hanging out with me on my bed when she got stuck, so I went to help her up and I must have pulled too much on her elbow, anyways she started crying and wouldn't use her arm. So, I took her to the Dr. and found out I dislocated her elbow! He did a simple maneuver to pop it into place and he showed me how to do it in case it happened again (since she may be more susceptible to them since it already happened!) She was much happier, but while he was checking her he found out that she also had an ear infection!
WHAT! She was sick a couple weeks ago, but she has been sleeping fine and is a super happy little bug! (A night and day difference to when Lily gets ear infections, she runs a fever, doesn't sleep and is super grumpy!) I had no idea! So, now she is on an antibiotic and her elbow is doing great!
What a little trooper!

Imaginations!

I love little kids and their imaginations! This is Lily this morning with all her "friends" enjoying a nack and watching TD! (Snack and TV in Lily talk!)

The multi generational, multi family blanket!

Brandon's Grandma Shirley started this blanket and never finished it before she passed away 10 years ago. When she passed Brandon's Mom gave it to me and asked if I thought my Mom could figure out the pattern and finish it. I thought of course she can! (My Mom is amazing at crocheting!) So, I put it away and when we moved I finally gave it to my Mom and asked her if she could finish it!
And here it is! She had to buy a little more white yarn and it turned out beautiful!
Now we have a blanket started by Grandma Shirley on Brandon's side and finished by My Mom (of course from my side!) How awesome is that?!?

No more snoozes??!!

Shortly after we moved into our home, Lily decided she didn't need snoozes anymore! I am always sad when the kids give up snoozes, but I know it has to come at some point. We went for about 2 weeks and she would get really grumpy at night and soon she started falling asleep on the couch at around 4 or 5! This day I tried to lay her down, but she assured me she wasn't tired so she slept for an hour and a half like this!
So, we are now back to snoozes most days of the week, but I often have to lay with her until she falls asleep, then sneak out!
We will see how long this lasts for!
