Dinosaurs!

Playing catch-up! At the end of February we went with my friend Emily and her cute kids to the dinosaur museum. Tyson was so excited. Since we live less than 10miles away, he sees it all the time and asks when we are going. It is rather pricey, so we took advantage when Olivia's preschool was going on a discount!
Tyson already breaking the rules by climbing on the exhibit!
Lily excited to get going!

This is cute Gavin. Every dinosaur he picked up he wanted me to take a picture of it!

Playing in the water sand tables!
The highlight for a lot of kids!
Tyson creating a mountain of sand.

Cute kids!
Lily didn't want to participate in a picture, but I got her in the background!

Lily isn't afraid of anything! In fact it took me some time to get her to leave the shark!

Digging for bones.
Lily just liked holding a paintbrush!

Olivia, Gavin and Tyson...not digging for bones, trying to make a sand castle!
Funny kids!
We had such a fun time with Em and her kids!
We love you guys!

We are so ready for spring, but....

At the end of February we took the kids to the cabin for one last winter hoorah! We hadn't gone all winter and didn't have a chance to go sledding at home, so off to the cabin we went!
Lily getting ready for the snowmobiles!
Tyson was such a big kid while we were there. He would just get out toys and play by himself (very rarely done at home!)
When we were sledding he went by himself and wasn't even scared how fast he went or if his sled turned backwards! He loved sledding!
I love this picture, because he is wearing everything! He wanted to go for a ride with me on the snowmobile through the field (where you can go fast) so I had him wear a helmet, he wanted to wear the goggles and a full face mask!
I love this kid!

All decked out!

Little Miss Lily thought she was 1 going on 10!
She has no fear and wanted to do everything! When she was riding on the snowmobile with Brandon she would act like she was driving. While sledding, I was taking Tyson back up the hill on the snowmobile and we see Brandon and Lily sledding down the hill and Lily is standing up on the sled!
She is for sure our little dare devil!
She saw Tyson riding on the back of the sled so of course she wanted to do it too!
I love this picture!
How cute are these two!

We had a great time at the cabin, but by the time we were done, we were officially done with winter!!! A few days after we got home we had a snow storm that left us about 6 inches. I was so mad. Luckily it melted by that night! We have had one more significant storm since then, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that spring is on it's way and no more snow!

Happy St. Patricks Day

A sneaky little Leprechaun came to our house and made a huge mess searching for his pot of gold!

He left green footprints all over!

And left us a gold treasure!

Tyson was so excited he collected all of the footprints (wondering why they were taped and made from paper??! Crazy Leprechauns!)

All the footprints!

The pot of gold!

You can't forget cute Lily!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Don't forget those silly Leprechauns turned our dinner green!

Breakfast for dinner...got to love it!

We LOVE Cookies!

The other day I made cookies and Lily helped me! I know you shouldn't eat the cookie dough with the whole raw egg thing, but who can resist cookie dough, and what kid(and Mom) doesn't like to lick the beaters!!!
YUMMMY Cookie Dough!

Then Tyson joined us to while the cookies were baking! They were so cute watching the cookies bake!
YAY FOR COOKIES!

Sunday, SUNDAY, Sunday...

Is it a right of passage or something?....
Tyson has been doing so many "art projects" lately that we constantly have the crayons, markers, scissors, and coloring books out. Well the other day I had to get after Tyson for pounding the markers on the table to get the lids on. So on Sunday morning when I saw half moon shapes on the table I thought the he had made indents on the table with the markers...I wiped them with my hand and found that it was hair!
Tyson decided to be a hair stylist instead of an artists!
He didn't want me to take pictures of his hair. He was so upset over it!
So I told him I was taking pictures of his biking war wounds (which I did!) But I also snuck in some hair pictures.
The pictures don't do it justice, but he took out a big chunk in the middle of his head, and two more up front! (you can see the bald spots up front!)
Luckily he is a boy and I just spike it and it is fine! If it was bad enough we could have just shaved his head! He was so upset I am hoping it will never happen again! (Keep my fingers crossed!)

Here is cute Lily all ready for church! She looked too cute to pass up taking a picture of her!

Sweet baby girl!
