So, after saving up some $$ we finally got the rest of our fence in and we also decided to get a trampoline and bury it! Online it looked really easy to dig a hole and put a tramp in...no problem!!!
Luckily we have some great friends on our street that have access to a lot of trucks and cool machines that helped us dig this huge hole!! Living in Herriman up on the mountain we have a lot of rocks...and digging the hole was a lot harder and took a lot longer than we thought! But thanks to great friends we got the majority of the hole dug on that Saturday!
Well after Brandon and I dug some more by hand the next week we got the trampoline in!
We had to bring in some new top soil since our yard isn't level (at all!) and we put some new sod around the tramp and after about 3 weeks of hard work...walla!
We also had Colin, Cori and Zak come and do some "service" for us and they weeded our whole yard for a McDonalds lunch! Thanks guys!! (it was great because they came the weekend after mine and Macy's falling episodes! So I really needed that help!!)
We got the garden planted last week! (and now with the fence hopefully the deer will be leaving our garden alone this year!)
Pictures never really do it justice, but I love my yard now! (I should add front yard pics sometime too!)
And with all the help from friends and family, all we have to do now to maintain is weed and mow! YAY!
We were playing a fun game of trampoline tag! If you made it to the tramp you were safe!
Next year we are going to plant some new trees. Some of our trees didn't make it since the house was empty for about a year! and along the back fence line, I am not a fan of the plants back there, so we are going to dig a lot of those out and plant some new stuff, but that is all for next year!
