Swimming Lessons

We did swimming lessons again this year!
This year we did it at the American Fork pool! It was nice to have lessons in an outdoor pool and it was nice to save a ton of money compared to Lehi's prices!
We put Tyson in Level 1 (skipped all of the preschool levels) and he did fantastic!
He is a great little swimmer! He swims like a fish under water, and he doesn't even plug his nose! (I have too!!!)
Lily and I did the Mommy and Me class!
Lily did pretty good! She did things on her own schedule though! She spent most of the time jumping into my arms from the side of the pool instead of back floats, ice cream scoops, blowing bubbles...
After some compromise she did try each technique!
We had a great time!
My awesome friend Requel watched Macy on the sidelines for me since her Bella wasn't in the Mommy and Me class!

The weekend of the 4th!

We had a great 4th of July weekend!
It started off with swimming at the AF pool...well Brandon and the kids swam, I hung out with Macy in the shade and me trying to get some sun! It was a lot of fun!
Then on Sunday we took the kids to Murray park to play and have a picnic dinner!
Macy and I hung out in the shade!

Brandon and the kids ran around and found pine cones!

Tyson's and Brandon's pockets were full of pine cones! Lily's "pretty dress" didn't have pockets so she helped fill theirs!

It took quite a few tries to get everyone in the picture! But I did it with one baby in hand and the camera in the other!!

We came home and played around in the yard!

(She is wearing her helmet because she was just scootering and when she wears her helmet she insists on having her hair down...the helmet doesn't fit as well with her piggys in!)
And she was done wearing her "pretty dress!" So she only had her under shorts on! Silly Lily!

On the 4th we headed to Park City to get some deals at the Outlets!
We did get some great deals!
Then we headed to Brandon's parents for a BBQ!
Dinner was delicious! And for dessert Nana wanted to do homemade ice cream with the kids...
Well right when they turned on the ice cream maker it died, so we tried putting it into plastic bags and rolling it around, but there was too much liquid so that would have taken hours. Then they stuck it in the freezer and still nothing, so we put it in the blender with some Fat Boys and made smoothies! They were very yummy!!

We didn't buy fireworks (because we are cheap!!)
But we had sparklers left over from before Lily was born so we used those!
The kids loved them!

What a great weekend!

2 months!

Our little Macy turned 2 months yesterday!
She is such a great baby!
At about 6 weeks she started sleeping through the night! AWESOME!
(With the exception of every now and then she will wake up once to eat, but for the most part she sleeps all night long!)
She started really smiling about 5 days ago!
She started gooing! She works so hard to get one little noise out! It is so darn cute!!
We just love this baby girl!

She is always holding on to something! Mostly her clothes!!

Tyson and Lily were never in a higher percentage for their length than their height! I was surprised when they told me Macy was!
Macy is defiantly her own little person!!
