Macy's 2....and what led up to her birthday!

So a week and a half before Macy's birthday we were shopping at Walmart. I ran into a neighbor and started talking to her. Lily was sitting in the front of the cart, Macy was in the basket and Tyson was running around playing with the girls. Well before I knew it, I heard a big thud and Macy was on the floor crying. She either reached for Tyson or something on the shelf and fell onto the hard floor right on her head. I didn't know what to do at first so after scooping her up and trying to look at her eyes my neighbor offered a children's motrin she had in her purse and I gathered us all up and intended to go home and get an ice pack for her. Well, at the checkout her goose egg on her head was huge and her eye was almost swollen shut so I began to panic! I loaded the kids (and groceries) into the car and headed straight to Riverton Hospital ER frantically calling Brandon and when he answered I just broke down in tears. I was now terrified what if there was bleeding or swelling on the brain, or a skull fracture or concussion. I felt like such a horrible mom!
They quickly got us back (fastest I have ever been taken care of in an ER) and since she was sleepy they decided to do the CT scan right away. She slept right through the scan (which was good so they got great images) So things were turning out to be on the good side, she hadn't passed out or thrown up and those were both good signs. They got the images back from the CT scan and she had a skull fracture that went right above her eye and up and under the "roof" of her eye socket (or orbital bone). Since there was a fracture she had to be taken by ambulance to Primary Children's hospital in Salt Lake where the best Neuro Surgeon was just in case they decided we needed to see him.
Macy had slept on my chest for the majority of the time we were at Riverton hospital, so when we were in the ambulance she was wide awake and checking everything out. I knew she was doing well when I pulled out the camera to document our events and she smiled and said cheese! (in the above picture)
Here she is strapped to the stretcher!
She loved seeing all the cars coming towards us!
She talked quite a bit to me and answered all of my questions so I knew my sweet Macy was going to be OK!
Brandon came and got Tyson and Lily at Riverton hospital and coordinated where they were going to go and packed overnight bags for me and Macy since they had said we were probably going to have to stay overnight just to monitor her. My Mom was great and met Brandon at her work and took the kids home with her. Tyson made this note for Macy and had everyone sign it!
Brandon then met me and Macy up at Primary's.
We met the the Dr. there and Macy was doing great. Then we met with the Eye Dr. and everything checked out great there so they finally gave her some milk to drink and monitored her to make sure she did ok eating and drinking and she did great (while watching Nemo 2 times!) so, the decided we could go home!
We had my Mom come up to Primary's because we just gave her our car so we didn't have to switch car seats and we couldn't take Macy home without a car seat! :)
While waiting for them we gave Macy her note and she said "oh awesome!" too cute!
Then when Tyson and Lily got there she said "you guys came!" and ran up to hug them, but they were a little afraid of her and her puffy purple eye!
We got home and fed the kids some dinner and put them to bed!
So this is her eye about 8 hours after the accident.
 Cute little stink!
Well, to add onto the drama...I had not eaten except for a piece of toast that morning after running and I drank about a half glass of water before we left for shopping. The accident happened at about 12:30ish and since they wouldn't let Macy eat or drink anything until she check out good on everything I wasn't about to eat or drink in front of her. After this long stressful day and after putting the kids to bed Brandon and I downed Taco Time for dinner! I ate way too much way to fast!
At about 3am I started not feeling too well and got up and ended up passing out. I have done this before, but it took me a lot longer to come to, so Brandon called 911. I woke up as we was finishing telling the dispatcher directions to our house. It seemed like a minute later the paramedics were there, but he said it was another 5 minutes or so.  Well, they decided I needed to go to the hospital so I was on my second ambulance ride for the day! (Brandon called his parents and his Mom was at our house in no time flat so Brandon could come be with me at the hospital yet again!)
They decided since I have low blood pressure and the stress of the day is what did it. So they gave me one bag of fluids and got ready to discharge me (with my blood pressure at 85/36 WHAT!!) Brandon was getting mad and felt like they were discharging me too early. He was about to tell them I wasn't ready to be discharged yet when I sat up got light headed and puked into their fancy puke bags. They then decided I might be a bit dehydrated so they re-admitted me and gave me two more bags of fluid and two small bags of anti-nausea medicine.
I had a couple nice bumps on my head, a scratch on my face and some achy front teeth from my fall!
I think the most embarrassing part was one of the nurses that saw me come in the Macy was the nurse that helped me just before I was sent home!
 Macy's eye the next day!
A lot of people commented on what a pretty purple it was!
Our neighbor noticed all them ambulances at our house so word spread fast that something happened so I had some visitors for me and when they saw Macy I would tell them that it was A lot of drama that day!
I had a cute friend and neighbor that brought me flowers, cookies, and a magnetic note pad and paper and some other neighbors bring flowers and cookies!
We are sure blessed with such great friends and neighbors!
Two days later! Getting more black under the eye now!
 Still so stinkin' cute!
 About 4 days later!
 Swelling going away!
6 or so days later! Nice shiner!
About 8 days later! Looking good!
A week and a half later at her birthday party!
Macy wasn't herself at her party. I think she had a little tummy bug a couple days before and she wasn't 100% so she wouldn't leave my side most of the time! So, I didn't get many pics of her party!
Here is cute Ava and her cute piggies!!
 Macy LOVES babies!!!
 Cute birthday girl!
Cute Riley! I still don't know where this little skinny, blonde thing came from!!! Her sisters were more solid and dark haired!! So cute!
Lily came in and I asked her if she ate something yummy??!!
 I see the chocolate evidence!!!
Here is the what was left from the party (I forgot to take a before pic)
We did an ice cream cone theme! I dipped ice cream cones in chocolate or vanilla then with sprinkles, oreos, butterfingers, or heath peices then they could have chocolate or vanilla ice cream. Then I decided we needed cake so I baked cupcakes in ice cream cones and did a whip cream frosting! YUM!!
And some yummy punch with fruit in it!!
Here is the Birthday girl and Lily on her official 2nd birthday!
I cannot get enough of her!!

Sunday after dinner we did ice cream cones again and sang to Macy again! She loved being sang to would stop eating her ice cream until we were done singing to her!!
