The infamous gorilla zoo picture! Got to love Lily's cheezer!!

A couple of weeks ago Brandon's out of state family came to visit. First his brother Derek came with his family from a Saturday to Saturday and that Wednesday in between his sister Andrea and her family came till the next Wednesday.
Being the Utah family with kids we got to enjoy almost all the festivities! We love when these guys come to town!
We got to play and eat at Nana and Papa's a lot!
We went to the zoo and lunch one day and Kangaroo zoo, lunch and the park another day with Derek's family!

When all the family was in town they all went to the cabin and they took Tyson with them!
I had Dr. appointments, Brandon had a half-marathon and lets face it that was way too many people to add us in at the cabin! (7adults and 6kids)

Brandon did the Shamrock half marathon that started in Saratoga Springs and looped into Eagle Mountain and back. It was only the 2 annual race so there weren't very many runners and Lily and I could drive the whole course and cheer for Brandon. Lily had her pom poms and I would roll down the window and she would yell "go daddy go!"
Brandon did great! It was almost all uphill and it was really windy and rather chilly. He ran it in 1:37! Way to go B!

I asked him if he was OK missing a day of preschool to go to the cabin with his cousins. He paused for a second and told me, "I don't want to disappoint my cousins that I don't get to see very often or my Nana, so I am OK missing preschool to go to the cabin!"
I really had to twist his arm to go!
Nana was worried he would get a little home sick without Me or Brandon there, but he had no problem at all!!
Derek and his family drove home to Colorado from the cabin so for the next few days when they got home from the cabin we got to hang out with Andrea's family!

We ate at Nana's again, Paige slept over at our house, and we did lunch and Monkey Island.
We have such a great time when these families come to town!
We are already excited for them to come back again!!
