We just moved Tyson to a big boy bed on Saturday so that when the baby comes she can have the crib. (He will be 3 in November, but if I could have I would have left him in a crib until he was 5). I was nervous that he would always be trying to get out of his room since he doesn't want to take naps or go to bed anymore, but we have somehow created an invisible force field that magically keeps Tyson in bed. Once I figure out what it is we will patent it and make millions. This force field is only deactivated when we open the door. Tyson will stay in bed and yell "Mom, I'm done snoozing" or " Mom, its morning and I am awake" but he will not get out of bed until I come and get him. This morning he was calling for me for about 15 minutes while I got dressed to go running. I love that he does this, and I know it will be short lived, but until than YAHOOO for us!
Wow, I was looking at your ticker I can't believe how close you are to having your little girl here! WOW! I guess pregnancy always goes by faster for those watching!!!
Our silly little Lily. When we are driving in the car she is a pretty good girl, until we stop at a stop sign/light. She will scream and cry until we start going again! 1/09
Lily still won't roll over, but man is she good at rotating! I will lay her one direction and in no time she is in the complete opposite direction. Silly Lily! 3/5/09
Tyson-
He has funny ways of describing what is going on with himself. He was sick with the flu the other day and when he would puke he would tell me he was choking, and when he would cry he would tell me he is dripping! Funny kid! 1/09
Last night while fixing dinner I was talking to my crazy Tyson...
Me: Tyson, where do you get all your energy?
Tyson: (no hesitation) Costco!
I guess I need to cut back on my Costco trips! He has enough energy to last forever! 3/5/09
The other day we were pulling into the garage and Tyson says, "annoying starts with A" I said yes you are right. Surprised he knew that it started with A and that he knew that word. I don't think Brandon or I use annoying very often, but kids repeat what their parents say?!? 3/30/09
The other day while eating lunch, Tyson was forcing out burps (like all little boys do) so I told him he needed to stop. He proceeded to tell me..."well Mom, Did you know that Nana is a scientist?" Me: "She is?!?" Tyson: "yah, a scientist of burps! She knows all about them." So I quickly picked up the phone to tell Nana. Where do kids get this from? (Nana is not a crazy burping fool...she has great manners!) 10/17/09
Lily got her tubes in on May 20th. Well, two days later all of the sudden, Lily started to say words! I was getting a little worried, but now it all makes sense! Hearing through fluid can't be easy!
All on May 22nd Lily said,
Ball
More
Papa did
Bye
Please
She is also being a lot nicer to people! Maybe she was mean because she always felt such pressure in her head!
Cute little stink!

So our funny little Lily refuses to say her own name and for the longest time refused to say Tyson too. Well, about a month ago she finally started calling Tyson "Tys" We thought that was too cute until one day that stopped and she decided Tyson's new name is "Buddy." All I hear all day long is... "Where's Buddy?" "Hi Buddy!" "Buddy Go?" and so on! It is so darn cute! 10/1/10

That kid cracks his Nana up. I wish Brandon had thought like that when he was 2. . .I like the new bed.
