The 3rd of July
Brandon had it off, so we took the kids to the Orem pool. It is a great pool, very kid friendly! We thought we would pack a picnic and swim all afternoon, but the rules have changed! No outside food permitted! What!?! So we had a picnic under a tree outside the gates! (We did sneak in some snacks! See the goldfish in the picture! :)
Tyson loved using his water wings. He thought it was awesome he could "swim" all by himself!

The 4th of July!
Happy Independence Day!
My family had a yummy BBQ at my mom's house, so of course we let the kids swim and get all of their energy out!
The water was too cold so Lily just hung out on the edge!

Trey and Lily became fast friends too! They played side by side really well!Tate and Andi are Trey's foster parents for now, but the will be officially adopting him in November (I think!?)

Best buddies!Sunday BBQ at Bruce and Shauna's
Uncle Bruce made a zipline that went across the whole yard. It looked awesome until you saw how to get onto it! You had to climb a full length ladder up a tree (it was secured to the tree), but that wasn't tall enough, so he then made a chain ladder of about 4-5 rungs to get you to a platform, which still wasn't tall enough, so then you had to climb a two step step stool to sit on the seat. It was crazy scary to get up their, but Brandon and I (and some others) braved it and enjoyed the ride. Pictured is Tate enjoying the wind in his hair! (I just realized I am a little out of order, the BBQ was before the Heber Creeper...like anyone cares but me...I like things in order...but I am too lazy to change it!!!)The cabin!
We joined the rest of the family at the cabin after the Heber Creeper! It was a great time!

We had just dropped Brandon off at work to go out of town for the Holiday weekend for business. (He was gone Thurs-Mon to visit a client. He visited the client for one day then enjoyed their company party...The Brickyard 400! He also enjoyed two movies and party! What a rough business trip!)We came home, had a picnic lunch and swam!

It was a fun July! Glad to see Lily has got her Otter Pops. Hopefully we'll see you again soon!
