I came across these old pictures that I forgot I took, so I thought I would post them! We have been enjoying taking the kids to the surrounding parks this summer. Lily loves to swing and Tyson can't get enough of the sand! We have thought about getting a sand and water table for the backyard, but I can't bring myself to it because of the mess and all the sand that would make it into my house. It would probably keep Tyson busy for hours, but I just can't handle the possible extra house cleaning! (Does that make me a horrible mom???)
Cute Lily ... Always good for a cute smile!! Tyson makes friends with ANYBODY! This is Tyson and his new friend making sand castles!
Who knows who's cup this is...(gross) but it makes an excellent castle mold!
Lily loves to swing!
Isn't that the cutest face you have ever seen. That Lily is turning into a complete Daddy's girl!
This is Lily messing up my nightstand! I love how babies can sit with their legs all spread out!
When Lily was first born she wasn't too fond of tub time, but now it is a different story. She can be the most grumpy baby and I put her by the tub to get ready for tub time, and I always get the happiest baby ever!
Can you tell these two little bums apart (ignore the date printed on the bottom picture!) On the top is Lily and on the bottom is Tyson. Looking at the date they are probably the exact same age in these pictures! Who can resist little baby bums!!!
Our silly little Lily. When we are driving in the car she is a pretty good girl, until we stop at a stop sign/light. She will scream and cry until we start going again! 1/09
Lily still won't roll over, but man is she good at rotating! I will lay her one direction and in no time she is in the complete opposite direction. Silly Lily! 3/5/09
Tyson-
He has funny ways of describing what is going on with himself. He was sick with the flu the other day and when he would puke he would tell me he was choking, and when he would cry he would tell me he is dripping! Funny kid! 1/09
Last night while fixing dinner I was talking to my crazy Tyson...
Me: Tyson, where do you get all your energy?
Tyson: (no hesitation) Costco!
I guess I need to cut back on my Costco trips! He has enough energy to last forever! 3/5/09
The other day we were pulling into the garage and Tyson says, "annoying starts with A" I said yes you are right. Surprised he knew that it started with A and that he knew that word. I don't think Brandon or I use annoying very often, but kids repeat what their parents say?!? 3/30/09
The other day while eating lunch, Tyson was forcing out burps (like all little boys do) so I told him he needed to stop. He proceeded to tell me..."well Mom, Did you know that Nana is a scientist?" Me: "She is?!?" Tyson: "yah, a scientist of burps! She knows all about them." So I quickly picked up the phone to tell Nana. Where do kids get this from? (Nana is not a crazy burping fool...she has great manners!) 10/17/09
Lily got her tubes in on May 20th. Well, two days later all of the sudden, Lily started to say words! I was getting a little worried, but now it all makes sense! Hearing through fluid can't be easy!
All on May 22nd Lily said,
Ball
More
Papa did
Bye
Please
She is also being a lot nicer to people! Maybe she was mean because she always felt such pressure in her head!
Cute little stink!

So our funny little Lily refuses to say her own name and for the longest time refused to say Tyson too. Well, about a month ago she finally started calling Tyson "Tys" We thought that was too cute until one day that stopped and she decided Tyson's new name is "Buddy." All I hear all day long is... "Where's Buddy?" "Hi Buddy!" "Buddy Go?" and so on! It is so darn cute! 10/1/10

Ok, I think if you were to turn them around the other way we would definitely know who is who!
I love little baby bums! Too cute! I avoid parks that have sand so I don't have to deal with the extra mess at home....I guess I'm a bad mom too. :)
So cute! We need to get together and play in the sand! I'll call you next week.
Twinner bums! How fun!
